Tacoma, Washington – Today, Washington Commissioner of Public Lands Hilary Franz announced raising more than $400,000 in Q4. Franz launched her campaign for Washington’s Sixth Congressional District on November 11th, and in just seven weeks amassed the highest-ever sum raised by a candidate in this district in the fourth quarter of any year, with contributions from every county.
“I’m grateful for the strong early enthusiasm behind our campaign from every corner of the district,” Franz said. “Together, we’ll bring change to the other Washington to lower costs for families, create good-paying jobs, safeguard abortion rights, and tackle the climate crisis.”
This record fundraising accompanies endorsements from across the district, including the Washington Fire Chiefs, South Kitsap Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 2876,
West Pierce Fire Fighters IAFF Local 1488, Gig Harbor Firefighters Local 3390,
East Pierce County Firefighters Local 3520, Washington State Building and Construction Trades Council, the Makah Tribe, the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe, the Suquamish Tribe, the Upper Skagit Tribe, the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, the Puyallup Tribe, International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 5, Teamsters Joint Council 28, and elected leaders including current WA-06 Congressman Derek Kilmer and former WA-06 Congressman Norm Dicks.
