Former Congressman Dicks joins current U.S. Representative Derek Kilmer in endorsing Franz for WA-06 seat
TACOMA – Former Congressman Norm Dicks has endorsed Hilary Franz as the next representative from the 6th Congressional District.
“For seven years Hilary Franz has managed our state’s public lands and waters and guided our wildfire strategy with skillful leadership, innovation, and a commitment to the people she serves,” said retired U.S. Representative Norm Dicks, who served Washington’s 6th Congressional District from 1977-2013. “Under her leadership, her agency has helped lead the fight against climate change while bringing jobs and economic development to communities and small towns across this state. After representing the 6th Congressional District for 36 years, I am supporting Hilary Franz because she is a fighter who will get things done for the people in our community.”
“I’m honored to have the support and endorsement of both current Congressman Derek Kilmer and retired Congressman Norm Dicks, who combined have served and championed this district for 46 years,” said Hilary Franz. “I’m humbled by the support I’ve received since announcing my candidacy just three days ago.
